5 TIPS TO IMPROVE YOUR BODY ACNE

1. Always use dry clean towels after shower!

If you reuse towels, they will carry more bacteria, especially if you doo not let them dry properly! Imagine-you are freshly out of the shower and your pores are nicely cleaned and OPEN, but then you rub filthy towel against it! Yes, this probably will not benefit already acne prone skin!

2.Change sweaty work out clothes soon after exercising!

Similar to previous point, we do not want dirty, sweaty clothing touching our skin! Sweaty clothing will support bacteria growth, so for the best precaution, take a quick shower to wash off the sweat and wear clean clothes!

3.Use body wash as your last step of your shower routine!

Usually some people develop body acne because they DO NOT wash off their hair product properly! Hair conditioners especially are thick and still linger on your body after a simple rinse, thus blocking your pores.

4.Exfoliate 1-2 per week!

Exfoliation will help you open up clogged pores and remove the top skin layer, that prevents your healthy skin "to breathe". It's a great way to stimulate your blood flow and help your skin regenerate! Here is an Exfoliant we recommend!

5.After all the previous steps one of the most important one- Moisturize your skin!

Weather you prefer body lotions or body oils, it is very important to give your skin back it's moisture! Your skin needs to be nourished to create it's natural protective barrier!

And one additional Tip +1

6.Eat balanced healthy diet, including lots of greens!

Often times skin is our mirror of what's happening inside of us-literally! If we are lacking certain nutrients or we have disbalance in our stomach bacteria, or even some organs screaming for help! I do not want to scare you, but just make you aware. You are able to make a change and help your self and your skin! Changing your diet for the better not only changes your skin, but benefits your mood, energy levels and brain work!

For example eating healthy fats like salmon, avocado, olive oil and herring, will naturally boost the moisture in your skin, and it will not feel as dry!

I will write a blog regarding healthy and nutritious foods for your skin, so if you are interested-stay in the loop!

Take Care, Kristiana! xxx
